To obtain useful information from Dr. Boaheneabout your rhinoplasty, try answering these questions: 1. What do you like about your nose and will like preserved?
2. What do you not like about your nose and will like refined?
3. What specific changes will you like to see done?
4. Have you had any nasal surgeries nasal trauma in the past?
5. If you like the nose of a model, provide a link and state specifically what you like about their nose and how their facial features are similar to yours?

For patients seriously considering a consultation with Dr Boahene, reviewing your photos allows him visualize the changes and refinement you are interested in. If interested in a photo review, please send photos of your face only focused sharply on the nose showing profile, front view and possibly oblique or base views. Unless taken with a high resolution camera, photos taken with cell phones are usually suboptimal. The higher the quality of the photos, the better the details Dr. Boahene can comment on. | | |

What happens to the photos you send
To keep your identity protected, you may choose to send cropped photos of your face showing only the areas you want addressed. Full facial pfotos are however more helpful since they allow Dr Boahene to evaluate your face in its totality. Your photos are password protected and viewed only by Dr Boahene or his designated assistant.
What happens after you send my request for a consultation? Dr Boahene or his office manager will contact you once all your information has been received. Dr Boahene's office manager will set up a phone or Skype consult for you. Please provide a phone number and Skype address where you can easily be reached. It is helpful if you have internet access during phone consultations.
Computer morphing of your photos is performed by Dr. Boahene on select cases. This process can be time consuming but helps convey a sense of what is surgically achievable . Computer morphing is most helpful in showing profile changes. With improving 3-D technology, full face simulation will become more realistic. The changes made on a computer are only an approximation and should only be viewed as a tool that facilitates your discussion about rhinoplasty, facial rejuvenation and facial contouring surgery.
What happens after an online consultation
Dr Boahene's office manager will contact you after your consultation to provide any additional information that may not have been covered. An appointment for an in office consultation can be arranged and an estimate for surgery, upon your request, will be provided. Dr Boahene has seen and performed surgery on patients travelling from almost all the US states, Canada, the Carribean, African , India, Middle East and the UK. As such, a system is in place to streamline the care of international ad out-of-state patients. Our office can provide information for hotels close to the surgery center and personal nursing services. Most patients can plan for their in office consultation and surgery with Dr Boahene during a single visit.
