A classic sign of the aging face is voulme loss resulting in the deflatted look and sagging skin. With volume loss, loose skin responds more to gravity resulting in undesirable folds, shadows and bulges under the eyes, cheeks, jowls and neck. The traditional approach to correcting these changes rely on stretching skin, hence " facelifts" or "eyelifts". Injectible tissue fillers are now available to allow restoration of some of the volume loss seen in the aging face. Injectible fillers have gained significant popularity because of the minimally invasive alternative they provide to restoring facial voulme and rejuvenation. The common fillers used in our practice include Restylane, Juviderm and Radiesse, Bellafil, Boletero.
